Pet portraits
Some helpful hints: if you have not yet taken pictures of your pet.
- Send different pictures. Even if I will only use one photo for the portrait some of the others may contain useful details.
- Make sure details are visible; natural light is best if it isn't too bright. Try to capture your pet's natural colors.
- Pictures should be at your pets eye level, not from above. Have them look towards you (maybe someone behind the camera can attract their attention).
- Your pet should fill the picture; it is extremely helpful if you have a close up of the face for details.
- Do not take all the pictures at one sitting; have plenty of patience (try to make it fun for your pet with treats and toys). Sometimes it takes a while to find that "typical" pose to remember your pet by.
